Tashi Delek and Namaste 🙏

On behalf of the United Sherpa Association (U.S.A.) Inc. – Sherpa Kyidug America, New York, we extend our deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation to everyone who joined, supported, contributed to, and helped make today’s Unveiling Program and the beginning of our fundraising initiative a meaningful and successful milestone for our organization.

Today represents an important beginning in our shared vision for the future development of our community, particularly the proposed Sherpa Lhapso Land Development Project and the Sherpa Kyidug Cultural Center/Main Building Development Project in Queens, New York.

The presentations and displays introduced our community to the vision for these projects—including future facilities, community and religious spaces, educational opportunities, cultural preservation, recreational areas, and other improvements intended to serve present and future generations.

Special Recognition

We express our special gratitude to the Main Coordinator and Chair of the Board of Trustees, Chhongba Lama Sherpa , for his leadership, dedication, and commitment in coordinating and initiating today’s fundraising program and helping move these important projects forward.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to our religious leaders and respected Lamas for their spiritual guidance and blessings; our Advisors and Former Presidents for their continued wisdom and service; and all members of the Board of Trustees for their leadership, commitment, and support.

We sincerely thank the President of the Executive Board and all Executive Board Members for their hard work, coordination, and continued dedication to the mission of Sherpa Kyidug America NY

We are equally grateful to all our Trustee Members, Life Members, General Members, donors, supporters, event ticket purchasers, participants, volunteers, youth and Interact volunteers, as well as the presidents and representatives of fellow community organizations and associations who joined us and demonstrated their support.

Engineering & Architectural Team

A very special thank-you goes to the Engineering Committee and the entire engineering and architectural team for contributing their professional knowledge, planning, concepts, designs, presentations, and vision for these future projects.

We especially recognize Architect  Sonam Sherpa and the professionals involved in the engineering and architectural planning process.

Your expertise and commitment are essential as we work to transform our community’s vision into a responsible and achievable development plan.

To Every Supporter

Finally, we extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed directly or indirectly—through financial support, professional service, volunteering, planning, coordination, participation, encouragement, or simply by being present today.

This is only the beginning.

These projects are not simply about constructing buildings. They are about creating a lasting home where our Sherpa culture, Buddhist traditions, language, education, community service, and heritage can be preserved and passed from one generation to the next.

With the continued unity and generosity of our community, we look forward to building a stronger future together.

Thank you and Tashi Delek to everyone. 🙏
