न्यूयोर्क, फेब्रुअरी १ २०१०: गत जनवरी १२ मा हाइटीमा गएको बिनस्कारी भुकम्पमा परी लाखौं मानिसहरुको ज्यान जानुको साथै लाखौं मानिसहरु घर बिहिन भएका छन। हाइटीमा भएको यो प्राकृतिक बिप्पतीका कारण हुन गएको यो मानबिय क्षतिलाई थोरै भए पनि मानबिय सहयोग र राहत पु-याउने उद्देस्यले शेर्पा किदुग अमेरिकाले न्यूयोर्कमा अबस्थित आफ्ना सदस्यहरुबाट मात्र संकलित जम्मा ५००५ डलरको चेक न्यूयोर्क सिटीको मेयर फन्डमा शेर्पा किदुगका पदधिकारीहरुद्वारा हस्तान्तरण गरिएको छ। उक्त रकमको चेक हस्तान्तरण पस्चत न्यूयोर्क सिटीको मेयर फन्डले शेर्पा किदुगलाई एउटा पत्र लेखी उक्त सहयोग न्यूयोर्क सिटी र शेर्पा किदुगको उदार कार्य र जोश प्रतिबिम्बित भएको कुरा उल्लेख गर्दै शेर्पा किदुगद्वारा प्रदान गरिएको सहयोगको प्रशांस गर्नुको साथै धन्यबाद प्रकट गरेका छ।
This is for your kind information that The United Sherpa Association Inc has hand overed a check 5005.00 to the Mayor’s fund to Advance city of New York on Feb 1, 2010 for Haiti Relief Fund. We United Sherpa Association highly appreciate to all our members for their generosity to assisting Haiti’s people as humanitarian purpose in this difficult situation in Haiti.
We have received the appreciation letter from the Mayor’s Fund mentioning that the donation provided by United Sherpa Association reflects the generous sprit of United Sherpa Association and New York city . The letter also mentioning that in conclusion with the Clinton Global Initiative, the mayor’s Fund has already dispersed funds to American Red Cross, Doctors without borders, partner in health and as well as direct relief organization on the ground of Haiti.
The Mayor’s Fund to advance city of New York appreciated our generosity and dedication to assisting others.
I thank and congratulate all those generous Sherpas who contributed to the $5005 fund that was handed over to the mayor of NY towards the Haiti reflef. Kyidug's effort and generosity outshines the 'meagre' $ 2500 raised by the ANA. well done and truly compassionate!
